Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints

This 65,000 sq. ft. three-level temple is prominently sited along a major thoroughfare in St. Louis County, on a partially wooded 14-acre site.  The development includes the temple structure, a 6,700 sq. ft. ancillary building, along with parking for 290 vehicles.  Exterior building treatments consist of arched leaded stained glass windows, white granite panels with cast stone trim and architectural elements accented by gold leaf engraved inscriptions; all topped by a 150 ft. high spire.  The interior of the temple includes spaces related to church marriages, baptisms and endowment ceremonies, as well as administrative offices, extensive file holdings, and research facilities to support the Latter Day Saints genealogical activities.
