Kaldi’s

Chiodini Architects designed the interior of Kaldi’s Coffee in Ladue, turning the 2,500-square-foot space into a cozy and welcoming environment. At the heart of the design is a large U-shaped bar that doubles as the order counter, accented by pendant lighting that enhances both the ambiance and the natural light flowing through two large windows near the entrance. The cafe accommodates around 40 guests, offering a mix of seating options, from tables and bar-height stools to comfortable leather couches. While the bar remains a focal point, the eye-catching wallpaper—featuring a bold blend of florals, fruit, greenery, and butterflies on a dark backdrop—steals the show. Contemporary artwork, colorful accent pillows, and lush plants complete the space’s eclectic yet inviting atmosphere.
